Currently we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer(Induction Furnaces) with the following qualifications to join our efficient team:

 Candidate shall possess a general mechanical engineering background and understand INDUCTION FURNACES concepts as they apply to integration of complex systems.

REQUIREMETNS:

  • A mechanical engineering degree with a combination of coursework and experiences in energy and induction furnace industries
  • Must have experience in installation, design, commissioning, trouble shooting and maintenance of induction furnace
  • Must have maintenance and field services experience on induction furnaces
  • Proven experience in projects including industrial heavy duty induction furnace installation and maintenance
  • Experience in supervising different trades in the project
  • Must have minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Must have strong hands-on and field experiences
  • Conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation and performance of mechanisms, components and systems
  • Plan and manage projects, and prepare material, cost and timing estimates, reports for induction furnaces and systems
  • Supervise and inspect the installation, modification and commissioning of induction furnace systems at construction sites or in the clients facilities
  • Develop maintenance standards, schedules and programs and provide guidance to industrial maintenance crew
  • Investigate mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems
  • Assist in preparing proposal documents for construction, commissioning and maintenance

Additional Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

  • Relevant experience in engineering or construction/ field services
  • Experience in electro-mechanical assembly, induction furnace installations
  • Skilled at interpreting technical documentation and schematics (Electrical, Wiring, and mechanical drawings)
  • Understanding of Siemens Step 7 software is considered as an asset
  • Ability to work independently and in a group
  • Good people skills
  • Meticulous and detail oriented. Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Motivated and willing to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a hard-working and multidisciplinary team
  • Experience in pipeline and energy industry is a plus
  • Any experience with gas turbines considered as an asset
  • Strong client interface experience is required
